If it's a popup, when Microsoft tells you that security patches that help prevent that people are upgrading from an attack on your PC when it legal copy of XP, and choose to download the patches and install Select use settings, and disable the Microsoft Genuine Advantage tool, it will not install.

The update is good, helps you be in resolving the security issues, can the Windows XP.

Sometimes the updates for the programs, problems running without problems under Windows XP have to fix, too.

So if you see the message in the right corner of the screen readyto updates are installed or downloaded it ....

Windows XP normally comes with a built-in firewall (SP1 above, I think). This firewall protects you from intruders, especially if you are directly connected to the Internet (eg, high-speed connection).

The error you get, turn is a reminder of him. Not sure what to tell you do, I'll make it.

Next, make sure your Windows Automatic Updates. These updates resolve errors vulnurabilities, the hacker can use to read your files, or control over your PC remotely. You can enable automatic updates in the following manner:

Click Start -> Control Panel
Double-click the System icon.
Click on the tab "Automatic Updates" and select "Automatic" (the first option).
Click OK.

So, go for every update to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and select "Express" button in the window.
